This is a heck of a performance of 40’s! Without it ever seeming flashy, Julian Lage takes some impressive liberties in the improvisational sections. This is a guitar player doing what he does best, and so this performance deserves a complete transcription. I would argue, this is one of the best recorded live performances of Julian Lage, period.
