These years, Julian Lage is setting a new standard for electric jazz guitar playing - both in terms of the tweety overdrive sound and the dynamical subtleties of the Telecaster instrument. This jazz guitar album contains melodic and sophisticated guitar playing that is well on its way forming a new school of jazz guitar playing.
As a transcriber, I have never before had as many requests as for this bunch of songs - even months before the actual release date - so this is clearly on its due way to a broader jazz audience and guitarists audience. Enjoy!
