This is a note-for-note transcription of all vocals parts, the main acoustic guitar, and the electric guitar theme. The music of “ude af mine hænder” is an homage, in general, to the protest songs of 1960s-70s’ American Folk rock, à la Bob Dylan: The melody style is curt and naivistic phrases, and the acoustic guitar part is simple chords in a joyful Travis picking pattern. For this Danish context, the music might also be an homage, in particular, to the late Danish troubadour Kim Larsen, who returned to this brand of Folk rock in his late solo career. The lyrics, speaking of protest songs, might be an homage to the popular psychology of Svend Brinkmann. Lastly, the first line of the Bridge section references the first line in the chorus of “Ironic” by Alanis Morissette. Enjoy!
