song: Svantes lykkelige dag
artists: Benny Andersen & Povl Dissing
album: Svantes Viser (1973)
writer: Benny Andersen

piano: Benny Andersen
(vocal: Povl Dissing)

This is a complete note-for-note transcription of the piano part on “Svantes lykkelige dag” . (This is what was actually played on the recording, hence this does not include the vocal part or the lyrics, nor the melody inserted into the piano part.) This song is the most famous piece from Svantes viser, but while most people never paid attention to the original piano arrangement, this is a quite impressive performance that bursts with additional melodies and shows the serious piano chops of Benny Andersen himself. Enjoy!
