This is a complete and detailed transcription of the guitar part, with lyrics, of Eva Cassidy’s rendition of “Over the Rainbow”. Included are two versions: One notated in the actual key of A♭, and the other notated in the key of G, relative to the guitar.

This breath-taking recording actually did not make it onto the initial live album, Live at Blues Alley (1996), featuring the recordings of the live shows on the 2nd and 3rd of January 1996. The performance appeared posthumously as restored footage, fortunately, and eventually paved its way onto the collection Simply Eva (2011). Enjoy!
