This is a transcription of the clip, uploaded by Tool’s guitarist Adam Jones on Instagram on the 1st of May. This was then uploaded onto YouTube by the faithful fan-driven channel ToolArchive. The riffs played are the final parts of an unreleased tune, titled “Descending” (see the live clip below). I am crossing my finger for an album release (again) this year.
Tool - Descending (Live Premiere May 5th 2019). On May 5th 2019, Tool performed the full version of "Descending" for the first time at Welcome To Rockville 2019. The new song will feature on the new Tool album, which will be released at the earliest in August or September.
