This is a note-for-note transcription of the instruments listed on Astrud Gilberto’s “Água de Beber”. This became the biggest hit from her debut album, and it went on to become one of the paradigmatic Bossa Nova songs. This particular recording is the one transcribed for the Real Book. It was recorded and released around the same time as Jobim’s second album that also featured the song, which is why the two arrangements are the same (although the keys differ). Enjoy!
