This is a complete transcription of the lead guitar and bass parts on “Echo”. This composition is a slow Jazz waltz, notably co-written by the trio’s bassist whose spectacular riff opens the tune. The tune is a gorgeous harmonic landscape in minor that briefly modulates between A Minor and C Minor. The melancholic backdrop lets Julian Lage do what he does best. Usually, the transcriber is not supposed to have an opinion, but I dare say that this stands out as one of the best compositions in the catalogue. Enjoy!
