This is a complete transcription (except drums) of the album version of “Tributary”. This was chosen as the third single in promotion of the album. I think of this tune as a cousin composition to Saint Rose and its ascending double stop motif and the cool bass groove, but in G Major and a slower. Enjoy!

This song began as a study in developing a climbing double stop theme and increasingly became an exploration of a groove/tempo that can feel both laid back, standing still, or driving forward, depending on what it is paired with. This song is in many ways the emotional heartbeat of ‘View With A Room’ and sets the tone for the whole body of music. ”
