This is a transcription of the cover of “Christmas Time Is Here”, known from the soundtrack from A Charlie Brown Christmas. In 2005, Julian Lage was the featured guest on NPR’s radio show, Piano Jazz, hosted by pianist Marian McPartland (and bassist Gary Mazzaroppi), and this performance was probably recorded then. This recording features a Julian Lage, at age 18, playing a wonderful piece of standard jazz guitar, accompanied by Gary Mazzaroppi. Enjoy!
