song: In Circles
artist: Julian Lage
album: Love Hurts (2019)
writer: Julian Lage

electric guitar: Julian Lage
double bass: Jorge Roeder
(drums: Dave King)

DISCLAIMER: About 4 or 5 measures of the Double-Bass climax in the last chorus are unintelligible and not transcribed.

This is one of the Free Jazz pieces of the album. This displays the trio playing freely, which allows Julian Lage to show off his incredible improvisational skills and elaborate phrasing that explores the boundary between implied chords and atonality. Enjoy!
