This is a transcription of Julian Lage’s solo-guitar performance of the “Emily”. The performance was recorded home during the COVID-19 quarantine, on his Gibson, Les Paul, Gold Top guitar (P90 pickups). This is an advanced piece of Jazz guitar, which displays e.g. Julian Lage’s impressive chord-based style of improvisation and reharmonisation. (This might be inspired by the great Johnny Smith’s version.) Enjoy!
