This is a transcription of the guitar and bass parts “Havens”. Harmonically, this is an unusually simple composition for Julian Lage: a 7-bar A section and a 6-bar B section. The focus here is on the rhythmic drive and the relentlessly sharp 16th-note grid, which is brought out in the guitar solo and throughout the entire bass part. Enjoy!
