This is a complete transcription of Julian Lage’s 6-minutes solo-guitar performance of the Charlie Parker tune “My Little Suede Shoes”. This is a lovely revival of the original Cuban-inspired Jazz composition that features on all Charlie Parker compilations. In the present version, Julian Lage opens with an extended avantgarde introduction – which is a little piece of music unto itself – before executing this joyful tune with occasional nods to Charlie Parker’s soloing.
