This is a note-for-for transcription of the “Blue Dove Performance”, the first recording of Julian Lage playing the tune, in the session hosted by D’Addario. This tune was originally a folk melody, which was first inducted into Jazz by Dave Brubeck on Bravo! Brubeck! (1967), and a prominent guitar rendition was later recorded by Jim Hall/Red Mitchell (1978). Enjoy!
