This is a transcription of the guitar part on “Talking Drum”, the second single from the album. This is a typical Julian Lage-esque composition, with its mixolydian tonality, a chord progression that is inspired more by the Blues than by functional harmony, in a cyclical Jazz form. Special about the chord progression is its Coltrane-thirds that throws the soloist through several keys. Enjoy!
